OILY THYME
Fresh thyme, which has a good smell, taste and is also a source of healing, is collected from the high-altitude Amanos mountains of Hatay, blended with Halhalı-type olive fat after extracting the stems. This natural and local product, which is special for Iskenderun and which is given priority by the people of Hatay for their breakfast, is consumed in salads, meat marinades and as a side dish.
